From November 28 to December 3, 2017, 3D printed clothing with traditional origami elements created by Lin Mingjing, an alumnus of the Dyeing and Weaving Clothing Art Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and her doctoral classmate Huang Caijun were exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in the UK. On the evening of December 1, Peking Opera actors performed a segment of the Peking Opera "Farewell My Concubine" at the Hockey Gallery wearing 3D printed, pleated designs.

Liu Jiayi emphasized that accelerating the conversion of new and old kinetic energy is not only relevant to the present but also to the future, impacting not only Shandong but also the overall development of the country.
