On November 24, 2017, a pivotal event took place at the Keqiao District Science and Technology Innovation Park: Shaoxing Huansi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Huansi Intelligent) and Ruixue Blue Printing and Dyeing Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Ruixue Blue Printing) formally entered into a cooperative agreement. This partnership is aimed at establishing a new standard for intelligent printing and dyeing enterprises and heralding a modern era for traditional textile technologies.

Huansi Intelligent stands out as one of the select high-tech enterprises in Shaoxing listed on the New Third Board and is recognized as a global leader in providing intelligent manufacturing solutions for the textile industry. Despite these credentials, Keqiao has not yet demonstrated significant leadership in the domain of intelligent manufacturing for printing and dyeing at a national level. This shortfall is primarily due to the absence of a benchmark project in intelligent manufacturing for the printing and dyeing sector, which could serve as a model for others to emulate.

"Recently, the relocation of the old factory of 'Ruixue Blue Print' to a new site is a good opportunity to seize the new high ground of science and technology and accelerate transformation and upgrading. We attach great importance to the planning and investment of informatization, and soon reached a consensus with Huansi Technology." Xu Xingmu, general manager of "Ruixue Blue Print", said that after the signing of the contract, the "Printing and Dyeing Smart Factory" project will be launched one after another after the company officially goes into production in February 2018.

According to Xiao Defang, the executive president of Huansi Intelligent, the project is an intelligent manufacturing system covering the entire process of fabric printing and dyeing. It can achieve precise control of planning and output, orders and production, costs and benefits, data and analysis, and can also realize the connection of things, machines, numbers and people, so that the management systems of quality, cost, delivery time, abnormal error correction, etc. are constantly improved. "Conservatively estimated, it can improve production efficiency by at least 5%." Xiao Defang said.
